I'm inspired by the peacefulness of water and I want my artwork to convey this same sense of calm and serenity. To that end, my piece "Miles Away" leverages a monochromatic colour palette in muted tones along with a simplified composition to evoke that feeling of peacefulness. In addition, luscious texture in the water adds movement and interest.
