Chasing the Moment 2

"From Moments to Memories" seeks to capture the beauty and impermanence of life’s fleeting moments. Inspired by nature’s delicate cycles, this piece reflects the way we experience and hold onto memories—how they evolve, fade, and remain imprinted in our hearts.  This work integrates nature both visually and physically. By foraging plant materials to create stencils, I embed organic forms directly into the painting, reinforcing a connection to the natural world. The process begins with layered spray paint, building depth and intricate details that form the foundation of the piece. At the heart of the composition, a magnolia flower—meticulously rendered in oil—emerges as the focal point. The magnolia, revered for its fleeting bloom, becomes a symbol of cherished moments that, once passed, live on only in memory.
