Collection: Tammy Coo

“My goal is to create art that honours the simplicity and beauty in nature, the sky, and water. The movement of clouds, the shadows, the light, the ripples in the water; they are ever-changing, and totally captivating. I try and convey a sense of wonder in each painting that I create.” - Tammy Coo

With a relaxed neutral palate, and subtle motion, Tammy portrays her love of nature and the ever-changing sky in each of her paintings.

Tammy paints primarily with acrylic on canvas, and also creates hand-drawn Muskoka colouring posters using pen and ink, at her studio in Muskoka Lakes, ON. Images of Tammy's original artwork are also available as fine art prints and greeting cards.

ABOUT THE SUMMER SHOW

Please follow all our live updates on Instagram & Facebook for all things MAC: @muskokaartsandcrafts

The Muskoka Arts & Crafts (MA&C) Summer Show is one of Ontario’s oldest and largest rural outdoor events, serving as a key highlight of the summer season for both residents and visitors alike. This three-day event brings together over 200 of Canada’s most talented artisans, showcasing a diverse array of handcrafted art, from stunning sculptures and intricate jewelry to beautiful textiles and captivating paintings. With an estimated 10,000+ visitors each year, the show is a must-see cultural event in the heart of Muskoka.

As MAC’s largest yearly fundraiser, the Summer Show has a significant economic impact on the region, benefiting local businesses, galleries, and, of course, the artists themselves. The event provides a vital platform for creators to share their work with a wider audience, promoting local talent and strengthening Muskoka’s vibrant arts community. It’s not just a shopping experience; it’s a celebration of creativity, culture, and the spirit of collaboration that defines this stunning region.

In addition to the incredible artistry, the Summer Show also features live local music, entertainment, and an array of delicious food options, creating a vibrant atmosphere where visitors can engage with the arts in a lively and social setting. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a local business owner, or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of Muskoka, the Summer Show offers something for everyone.
