Collection: Patty Wilkinson
Patty is a lifelong educator and artist. After 10 years of teaching high school art and photography, and another 15 of raising children and taking care of ailing parents, Patty rediscovered her love of creating by taking a three year adult art program at Central Technical School in Toronto, then continuing with semi private classes in oil painting with Toronto artist, Michael Gerry.
She has taught art at University of Toronto school of continuing education, daycare and school groups, as well as private and semi private lessons. She currently teaches oil painting workshops at the Artbarn in Toronto.
Focusing primarily on oil painting, Patty marvels at the mundane, finding beauty in the forms, colour and values of everyday objects and settings. Using composition and lighting, she hopes to create a narrative, evoking an emotional response from the viewer.

ABOUT THE SUMMER SHOW
Please follow all our live updates on Instagram & Facebook for all things MAC: @muskokaartsandcrafts
The Muskoka Arts & Crafts (MA&C) Summer Show is one of Ontario’s oldest and largest rural outdoor events, serving as a key highlight of the summer season for both residents and visitors alike. This three-day event brings together over 200 of Canada’s most talented artisans, showcasing a diverse array of handcrafted art, from stunning sculptures and intricate jewelry to beautiful textiles and captivating paintings. With an estimated 10,000+ visitors each year, the show is a must-see cultural event in the heart of Muskoka.
As MAC’s largest yearly fundraiser, the Summer Show has a significant economic impact on the region, benefiting local businesses, galleries, and, of course, the artists themselves. The event provides a vital platform for creators to share their work with a wider audience, promoting local talent and strengthening Muskoka’s vibrant arts community. It’s not just a shopping experience; it’s a celebration of creativity, culture, and the spirit of collaboration that defines this stunning region.
In addition to the incredible artistry, the Summer Show also features live local music, entertainment, and an array of delicious food options, creating a vibrant atmosphere where visitors can engage with the arts in a lively and social setting. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a local business owner, or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of Muskoka, the Summer Show offers something for everyone.
