Collection: Kati Bujna

Kati Bujna is a contemporary next-generation artist known for large-scale abstracted nature and figurative paintings, creating both original collections and bespoke works tailored to client specifications. Kati describes her work as her energetic response to exotic landscapes and how she moves through—or is moved—by them. Professionally trained as a graphic designer, photographer and interior decorator, what most excites her fine art studio work is the blending of visual arts principals in large-scale. The main thread in Kati's paintings is her intermingled use of layered vibrant colours, textures and calligraphic line work, and deconstructed nature patterns applied with non-traditional tools and techniques. Combined, elements create bold abstracted and representational nature landscapes and motifs. Her big, colourful work is primarily painted and drawn with premium acrylics and multimedia including graphite, pastel, spray paint and charcoal. Collections range in size from the largest being 84” x 60” to the smallest being 22” x 30” and in themes from water reflections, forest, nudes and florals. Kati’s international corporate collectors include law firms, medical clinics and hotels across USA & Australia, and private collections throughout North America.

Kati Bujna, custom and original fine artist - is a graduate of graphic design, fine art, and digital multimedia programs. Kati’s awards include: Top Graduate & The President’s Honour Roll, from The Haliburton School of Art, Painting & Drawing program. Kati graduated with Honours from Sheridan College’s industry-leading, Digital Multimedia program, and Honours studies in Interior Decorating at Conestoga College. Recently, Kati was also recognized and promoted as an emerging artist to watch by Saatchi Art Gallery, headquartered in Los Angeles, USA.

Featured in galleries throughout North America from Bala, Waterloo to Hamilton, Ontario to Los Angeles, USA, Kati lives and works in her studio in Cambridge, Ontario with her husband Ron and spends summers and the fall in The Muskokas, Ontario, Canada.
