Stillness

I have always been fascinated by the Great Blue Heron. They are often seen throughout Muskoka wading in shallow waters day or night hunting for prey. The Blue Heron stands over a meter tall and can live on average for 15 years. I have observed this stunning bird strike its prey with lightning speed using its razor-sharp bill. I have also witnessed a Blue Heron kill a groundhog!
